Tour  Overview – 9 days vacations

SHORT ROUTE DESCRIPTION :
Day 1: Arrival Athens airport and transfer to the hotel. Introductions over dinner at a typical Greek traditional food and wine to the old city of Acropolis.

Day 2 :  Athens- Ano Trikala  (160 km)

The first day of the journey will be challenging but rewarding, because we cross the canal of Korinthos  countryside towards Ziria Mountain, a sleeper among the local riders. After lunch we continue through curvy, pleasant streets towards the first peaks of the Ziria. We stay overnight in the Ano Trikala village. Trikala of Korinthia is consisted of three villages, Kato, Messaia and Ano, which is the largest village with an altitude of about 1100 m.

Day 3 :  Ano Trikala – Monemvasia (290 km)

In the morning we discover the beauty and the spectacular roads of the Parnona’s Nature Park . From here we drive towards Polidroso. In the evening we reach Monemvasia, where we will find the ancient castle of Monemvasia. Monemvasia is a characteristic example of architecture in a city founded by Greeks, transformed by Venetians, the experts on military architecture and completely restored by Ottoman rulers.

Day 4 :  Monemvasia –  Kalamata (250 km)

We reach the Mediteranian Sea and the one of the lesser tourist attraction in greece, the shipwreck of navagio dimitrios. Later we ride to the most southern point of our tour in Mani where we stop for a look at its main-sight, the ancient village of Vathia . we will enjoy the fantastic coastal road that brings us along stunning views and small fisher ports to our destination Gerolimena, as one of the top destinations in the Mediterranean! We stay overnight in Kalamata.

Day 5:  Kalamata – Kalogria (270 km)

We ride and visit the most famous twin castles of Messinia, Methoni and Koroni. It is worth noting the particular strategic location of Methoni, where is the largest fortress in the Peloponnese. Next we ride to Pilos,the protected coast of the natural harbor of Navarino Bay. We stay overnight in one of the most characteristic and best known, the ecosystem of the forest Strofilia and the Kalogria beach next to it. The place is worth visiting for its natural beauty, as it is one of the few forests that are so close to the sea.

Day 6 : Kalogria – Kapsia ( 250 km)

Back on the road, today we will cross the forest of Foloi. It is unique not only in beauty and specificity across Europe this native forest, leads us along into the heart of Mainalo mountain Nature Park. We will pass the Mainalo mountain and we arrive to our hotel in Kapsia.

Day 7 : Kapsia – Ano Trikala  ( 250 km)

Nothing compares to the beauty of the mountains and lake of Doxa that is waiting for us today. The Doxa lake is an artificial lake at an altitude of 900 meters. The Curves tour will be until the caves of lakes. Through Helmos mountain (2.050 m) we arrive to Lake Tsivlou. A unique day of sheer riding pleasure ends on Ano Trikala.

Day 8 : Ano Trikala – Athens (180 km)

On the last riding day of the tour we enjoy a fantastic mountain road, that brings us to the Pisia. From here we ride and arrive back to Athens.
